Description+
A folk bull mask from the woodworking ateliers of Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh; shaped from seasoned Indian hardwood and hand-painted in a duotone of forest green and peacock blue; with yellow folk accents around the eyes and forehead. The bull is the steady creature of Indian village life and; as Nandi; a household guardian. Mounted on a feature wall it brings a quietly ceremonial note into the room — substantial enough to anchor a foyer or a puja-adjacent space.
